The position involves essential duties and responsibilities related to receiving policies and procedures. The individual must be knowledgeable and proficient in various tasks including shrink awareness, point of sale and inventory hand unit proficiency, price look up, and informing vendors of receiving policies. The role requires maintaining signature logs, backroom sweep sheet maintenance, and daily, weekly, and monthly equipment logs. The individual will verify item count, cost, and quality on all invoices, and must be forklift and pallet jack certified. Additional responsibilities include exception reporting, pallet tracking, invoicing and filing, reclamation, and invoice reports. The position also ensures the proper processing and safe delivery of invoices and other documents to the store office, inspects receipt of products for concealed damage, and maintains proper security of back door exits. The individual is responsible for maintaining a controlled receiving area, organizing products and supplies in a clean, secure, and safe manner, while continually maintaining a high level of productivity.
