About The Position

Classic Rock Fabrication is seeking a reliable Design Center Receiving & Installation Support Technician to support daily warehouse operations and assist with installation activities as needed. This multi-functional role is responsible for the accurate handling of materials, maintaining organized inventory, and providing hands-on assistance to installation teams to help deliver the high-quality craftsmanship and service our customers expect. Position Overview This role supports the flow of materials through the Design Center while also assisting installation crews with deliveries and on-site work when required. Requirements

  • 6 months to 1 year of experience or training in warehouse operations or construction preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Basic math skills, including fractions and measurements
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • DOT Medical Certification required for box truck operation
  • Ability to lift up to 125 lbs independently
  • Ability to assist with 1,000–1,500 lbs during installations
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, crouch, lift, push, pull, grasp, and perform repetitive motions
  • Capable of safely operating company vehicles and equipment

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and confirm incoming materials and products upon arrival
  • Distribute and communicate receipt of materials to the appropriate departments
  • Maintain receiving documentation, including packing slips and daily logs
  • Keep warehouse inventory, dock areas, and racking systems organized
  • Participate in inventory counts and monitor raw material levels
  • Prepare and process outbound shipments
  • Collaborate with team members to support efficient operations
  • Consistently demonstrate Classic Rock Fabrication’s Core Values
  • Load, unload, and transport countertops, backsplashes, and related materials
  • Assist Lead Install Technicians during residential and commercial installations
  • Utilize basic construction and fabrication tools, including tape measures
  • Complete required pre-trip inspections and report vehicle concerns
  • Maintain DOT medical certification when approved to operate company vehicles
  • Communicate professionally with customers while on job sites
  • Leave job sites clean, organized, and improved upon completion
