  • Receives merchandise as described on purchase orders and carrier-generated freight bills.
  • Operates an RF unit to check in merchandise and positions pallets for their next destination.
  • Conducts routine technical support tasks for the Distribution area under general supervision.
  • Gathers feedback from employees to ensure the technical support function is responsive to business needs.
  • Inspects all merchandise to ensure receiving standards are met, including UPC code and item description.
  • Matches purchase orders to freight bills and merchandise being received.
  • Completes receipts for vendor compliance and prepares merchandise for storage/movement within the facility.
  • Checks in merchandise from assigned receiving doors.
  • Takes direction to execute techniques, processes, and responsibilities.
  • Ability to walk, stand, pull, climb, bend, reach, and stoop for an extended period of time.
  • Occasional medium lifting requirements (0-20 lbs.) and an occasional heavy lifting requirement (up to 75 lbs.).
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to read, write, and count accurately.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally.
  • Basic computer skills.
