About The Position

The Elmhurst Park District, established in 1920 and located 16 miles west of Chicago, provides parks, recreation facilities and programs to meet our mission of enriching lives while having fun! We are looking for someone to join our team and be part of an organization that values being community focused, providing customer service excellence, working with integrity, and having fun! We have an exciting part-time job opportunity as REC STATION LEADER with our Before & After School Program. Rec Station employees can enroll their age-eligible dependents in Rec Station programming at no cost during the shifts in which they work (i.e., before and/or after school)! No waitlist required and registration is guaranteed. Only work at least three shifts every week in order to qualify! You'll work directly with children enrolled in our Rec Station Program by assisting to implement the program activities in the areas of arts and crafts, drama, sports and games, outdoor recreation, field trips, special events, socialization, and quiet activities. As Rec Station Leader, you will support your team to set-up and take-down equipment.
