About The Position

Providing customer service for the Winter Park Rental Clubhouse. SUPERVISION This position will work under the direct supervision of the Facility Manager. CATEGORY AND FLSA STATUS Part-time under 20 hours ESSENTIAL DUTIES Assist and coordinate the Winter Park Rentals for daily operations and upkeep. · Utilize the recreation software Rec1 to facilitate transactions. · Provide customer service for patrons through face to face and phone. · Maintain cleanliness standards by ensuring and completing janitorial duties. · Sanitizing equipment regularly to keep clean standards · Ensure money handling policies are upheld and maintained. · Help customers get fitted for the right equipment NORDIC SKI INSTRUCTOR DUTIES Demonstrate proficiency as a Nordic skier using both classical and skating techniques. Ability to teach beginner to intermediate level students in classical and skate techniques. Knowledge of techniques following, but not limited to, the guidelines for USSA Level 100 in addition to the guidelines set in place by the Winter Park Nordic Center Manager Practical working knowledge of both classical and skate waxing techniques. Ability to offer technique and waxing advice to guests. Possess knowledge of the trail system and express a genuine enthusiasm for Nordic skiing. Exhibit polite and proper etiquette when dealing with customers, co-workers or other city of Rexburg employees. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Able to communicate well with the public and other city employees. Is self-motivated, ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to work well and collaborate with staff members and supervisors. Computer skills to be able to utilize the resources necessary to complete the essential duties aforementioned WORK ENVIRONMENT Work is performed primarily in a recreation facility environment; will be required to work extended hours including evenings and weekends. Tasks require a variety of physical activities, such as walking, standing, stooping, sitting, reaching, and lifting. Common eye, hand, finger dexterity required. Mental application utilizes memory for details, verbal instructions, emotional stability, discriminating thinking and creative problem solving.
