About The Position

The Department of Recreational Services at the University of Michigan-Flint is seeking student staff to ensure a welcoming and safe environment in the Recreation Center. The role primarily involves working as a weight room attendant during the winter semester, with shifts available on weekdays and weekends based on individual availability. Requirements

• Current UM-Flint student.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
• Ability to obtain CPR/AED/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Providing on-site supervision of the weight room to ensure patron safety.
• Performing light cleaning and regular checks of the cardio room and indoor track.
