About The Position

The Rebate Manager is responsible for overseeing vendor and customer rebate programs as well as daily and monthly tasks, including but not limited to, monthly accruals, payment postings, audit of the programs and various analysis through the utilization of Vendor management software, ERP software, Bl tools, and other resources.

Requirements

  • Experience with supplier rebates preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external customers as well as establishing and maintaining good working relationships.
  • Advanced proficiency in standard software applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to use Bl tools.
  • Self-starter with the necessary initiative to identify areas for improvement.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to analyze complex data.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Previous experience with commercial food service equipment a plus.
  • Business Intelligence/ Data Warehouse management prior exposure a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Singer's customer and vendor rebate programs.
  • Review and analyze rebate data.
  • Oversee and maintain published rebate programs information and fix discrepancies, ensuring accuracy of data.
  • Load customer and vendor rebate data into rebate management system for monthly accrual, tracking and reporting.
  • Continuously monitor and review purchase data to ensure we are maximizing opportunities for returns.
  • Conduct rebate audits for accuracy and answer complex questions that arise from these audits.
  • Serve as the point of contact for vendor and customer related rebate matters.
  • Interact with the purchasing, marketing and finance departments as needed.
  • Identify and highlight sales variations not apparent in high level reporting.
  • Incorporate various sales analysis & forecasting models into replenishment strategies and tactics.
  • Report on and make recommendations for improvement of rebate tracking & margin predictions by vendor.
  • Accurately calculate and follow-up with rebates both in the ERP system and through external reporting.
  • Evaluate vendor performance by regularly reviewing all aspects of deliverables.
  • Attend seminars, meetings, or educational activities to stay up to date on the latest developments, trends, and regulations in the marketplace.
