Rebar Fabricator
About The Position
Carroll Construction Supply is hiring staff to work in the rebar fabrication area using machinery to bend and cut rebar as well for general warehouse trades as needed. Position involves operating shearing/bending machines to cut & bend reinforcing steel bars to specific lengths & shapes, loading trucks with a forklift and overhead cranes, as well as bundling and banding rebar bundles. Heavy lifting and physical labor will be required. We are looking for hard-working, safety-conscious, team-oriented people to help our company grow. Hours would be 5:00am - 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, and pay is based on experience. We are an employee-owned company with over 35 locations spread across 12 states.
Responsibilities
- Operating shearing/bending machines to cut & bend reinforcing steel bars to specific lengths & shapes
- Loading trucks with a forklift and overhead cranes
- Bundling and banding rebar bundles
