About The Position

The Rebar Fabrication Shift Lead at Nucor is responsible for leading safety initiatives and ensuring a world-class production environment. This role emphasizes the importance of safety, profitability, and the development of future talent while fostering a positive workplace culture. The Shift Lead will work closely with the Production Supervisor to meet operational goals and cultivate a strong team dynamic.

Requirements

• Demonstrated commitment to safety and ability to maintain a strong safety culture.
• In good standing status and recommendation from supervisor and/or manager.
• Willingness to work unplanned, unscheduled overtime, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
• Ability to work in extreme situations including hot, cold, rainy weather, dusty conditions, and a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
