About The Position
At the GS-09 grade level, the duties are developmental in nature leading to the full performance level of GS-1170-11. The duties are described at the GS-11 level. You will provide advice and technical guidance to state and local officials on real estate matters for local cooperation projects for which the local or state government is the project sponsor. Acquire various property interests for military and civil works projects, including acquisition by easement, lease, permit purchase, exchange, withdrawal, transfer, etc. Acquire properties, including recruiting offices, National Guard armories, airport space, taxiway, etc., for various DoD and other federal agencies. Represent the Real Estate Division in meetings with other Government agency officials concerning real estate actions.
