About The Position

As a Store Project Coach, you will be an integral part of the Realty Execution team, responsible for managing the progress of multiple store remodel projects simultaneously. Your primary focus will be to ensure that these projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will oversee and manage store remodels, supervising hourly team members and handling escalations as necessary. This role requires you to work closely with store associates to ensure that projects are completed according to schedule while also accepting the travel requirements associated with the position. In this role, you will own the execution of Realty projects by ensuring that the scope of work is completed effectively. You will be responsible for organizing project timelines and deliverables, facilitating meetings with stakeholder teams to analyze, plan, and implement project initiatives, and taking corrective actions as necessary to drive project results. Communication is key, as you will need to relay project plans and deliverables to key stakeholders, direct associates and vendors on processes and procedures, and review new modular plans. You will also be tasked with planning merchandise placement based on modular requirements and advising on the assignment of additional staff to meet company and facility goals. Your responsibilities will extend to leading the implementation of project plans by identifying requirements, collaborating with stakeholders about project obstacles, and ensuring that all project requirements are met. You will work closely with facility management to establish phasing plans that minimize operational impact, maintain and adjust timelines, and ensure that project milestones are met. Additionally, you will monitor sales and project budgets, assess the economic and customer experience impacts of project decisions, and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing and delivery of materials. As a leader, you will motivate your team to meet project timelines and deliverables, encourage collaboration among associates, and provide supervision and development opportunities for your team members. You will be expected to model Walmart's values, fostering a culture of accountability and supporting the company's commitment to communities and corporate social responsibility. This role is not just about managing projects; it’s about developing associates, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing business solutions that align with customer and business needs.
