About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic full-time Reality Capture Field Lead to join our exciting team of professionals in Pittsburgh. As a Field Surveyor, you’ll work hands-on in the field at project sites using advanced laser scanners and cameras to capture detailed 3D data of buildings, sites, and structures. Think of it as “digitally freezing” the real world so architects, engineers, and designers can work with it back in the office. Requirements

Proven field experience as a surveyor, scanner, or field lead.
Strong leadership skills — comfortable taking charge on-site.
Willingness to travel (often overnight) and adapt to different environments.
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to rent vehicles.
Physically fit (equipment handling, long walks, varied field conditions).
Strong communication — visual, verbal, and written.
Familiarity with construction or design concepts.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Revit or AutoCAD
OSHA training
Experience using surveying tools or modeling software

Responsibilities

Lead field crews on laser scanning projects across the U.S.
Operate advanced scanning equipment to capture existing conditions of buildings, facilities, and sites.
Lead projects, ensure accurate data capture, and document daily field notes.
Travel frequently — seeing new cities and project sites while representing Cadnetics.
Collaborate with project managers and technical staff to deliver high-quality results.
