About The Position

The Real-Time Operations Controller at CACI is a critical role within a 24/7 operational team responsible for monitoring ground equipment and services scheduled by users in an automated planning and scheduling system. This position involves ensuring the system's health, responding to service interruptions, and coordinating with team members to maintain operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of directly related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• TS/SCI with minimum Polygraph required to begin employment.
• Understanding of Radio Frequency spectrums and satellite communication systems.
• Networking experience and ability to learn complex systems with little direction.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills and strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a real-time operations environment.
• Knowledge of SIGINT signals analysis and collection.
• Familiarity with both theoretical and practical aspects of satellite communications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the status of initiated services and reschedule as necessary for interrupted services.
• Assist with service setup and execution.
• Lead daily turnover and update operations log on daily activity progress.
• Review all operator log entries for accuracy.
• Support system testing after upgrades and during maintenance activities.
• Monitor system performance and respond to event notifications.
• Report discrepancies concisely as they occur and investigate procedural discrepancies.
• Identify areas of process improvement and coordinate with engineering experts for configuration changes.
• Certify in multiple operator positions through knowledge-based and on-the-job training.
• Perform remote diagnostic monitoring of systems and support requests for re-processing and lab analysis.
