At Viasat, we're on a mission to deliver connections with the capacity to change the world. For more than 35 years, Viasat has helped shape how consumers, businesses, governments and militaries around the globe communicate. We're looking for people who think big, act fearlessly, and create an inclusive environment that drives positive impact to join our team. As a Real-Time Earth (RTE) Ground Station Engineer (GSE), you will join a high-functioning team of expert individuals who provide state-of-the-art Ground-Segment-as-a-Service (GSaaS) for commercial and government customers. • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, related technical field or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience configuring vendor equipment remote control interfaces to communicate over a local area network.
  • Experience in the operation of Multi-meter, Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator and Network Analyzer.
  • Must be able to work independently and tackle complex problems in remote locations with minimal assistance.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (written and oral).

  • Experience with testing G/T, EIRP, BERT and Servo Control loops.
  • Experience with monitor and control computers and related subsystems.
  • Ability to acquire and maintain a United States Secret Clearance.
  • Comprehensive medical, financial, and other benefits.
  • Additional cash or stock incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package.
