Requirements
- Knowledge of various classroom subject areas
- Knowledge of captioning computer equipment and related software programs
- Knowledge of English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and vocabulary
- Ability to capture relevant information during fast paced discussions with constant interruptions
- Ability to operate specialized equipment, including computer hardware and software
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Ability to demonstrate interpersonal skills using tact, diplomacy, and courtesy
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
