About The Position

The Real Estate Transactions and Portfolio Manager is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the execution of complex real estate transactions and driving portfolio optimization across the company’s global footprint. This role partners closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align real estate strategies with business objectives, reduce occupancy costs, and enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in lease negotiations, financial modeling, and portfolio strategy, along with strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities. For California Only and New York - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $138,000 - $148,000 base annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off. This role will be hybrid, in office Monday - Thursday with the option to work from home on Friday.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in corporate real estate, with a focus on transactions and portfolio management.
  • Proven track record of managing complex lease negotiations and strategic portfolio initiatives.
  • Strong financial acumen and proficiency in real estate analytics and modeling.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving initiatives in a dynamic environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with real estate management platforms (e.g., MRI, TRIRIGA, Tango) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage high-value, complex lease transactions including acquisitions, renewals, dispositions, and subleases.
  • Develop negotiation strategies and oversee execution in collaboration with legal, finance, and external advisors.
  • Maintain strong relationships with landlords, brokers, and third-party service providers to ensure favorable outcomes.
  • Own the strategic planning and performance management of the global real estate portfolio.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction, footprint rationalization, and space efficiency.
  • Monitor market trends and provide strategic insights to inform location strategy and long-term planning.
  • Build and review financial models to evaluate transaction scenarios and portfolio decisions.
  • Oversee reporting on key metrics such as occupancy cost, lease expirations, and space utilization.
  • Partner with finance and accounting teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business units, translating operational needs into real estate solutions.
  • Present portfolio strategies and transaction updates to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives including workplace strategy, sustainability, and capital projects.
