The Mercy Lugo-Struthers Team, one of Northern Virginia’s top-ranked real estate teams, is looking for a skilled Transaction Coordinator to manage both listing and buyer transactions from contract to close. As our Transaction Coordinator, you’ll be the backbone of our operations—supporting agents and clients throughout the listing and buyer process. From preparing listings to monitoring contract deadlines, you’ll ensure every detail is handled with precision while providing exceptional client care. Monday–Friday, day shift, occasional weekends as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of real estate experience (transaction management, TC, title, or mortgage background).
  • Ability to handle 20–30 open files at once.
  • Strong understanding of Virginia real estate contracts.
  • Strong written/verbal communication and organizational skills.
  • Tech-savvy (CRM, MLS, e-sign platforms).
  • Detail-oriented, solution-oriented, and highly reliable.

Nice To Haves

  • Real estate license preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage all listing documentation and compliance files.
  • Coordinate pre-listing activities, marketing prep, photos, and staging.
  • Manage the transaction from contract to close, tracking deadlines.
  • Schedule inspections, appraisals, and walk-throughs.
  • Facilitate HOA/inspection repairs.
  • Provide regular communication to clients, agents, and vendors.
  • Collect, organize, and audit documentation for compliance.
  • Follow up after closing to ensure client satisfaction and request referrals.
  • Serve as liaison among clients, agents, lenders, appraisers, and vendors.
  • Manage escrow and contingency deadlines.
  • Monitor repairs and ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and compliance systems.
  • Support agents and clients with escrow paperwork (appraisals, titles, loans).
  • Audit contracts for proper signatures and documentation.
