About The Position

Saxton & Stump has an exciting opportunity for a title processor in our growing real estate settlement practice. Only candidates with the strong organizational skills necessary to coordinate multiple real estate transactions will be considered. This position will include both commercial and residential real estate transactions. Candidates must be able to operate independently and manage a caseload of multiple pending deals. The ideal candidate will have real estate settlement experience, but candidates with strong professional and organizational skills interested in real estate settlements will also be considered. The person selected for this position will support settlement officers and attorneys and will have the opportunity to learn additional responsibilities. This role will sit in either our Harrisburg or York, Pennsylvania office. Responsibilities include: Opening new title matters and processing title requests Ordering title searches, tax certifications and resale certificates Communicating and working with buyers, sellers, lenders, realtors, tax collectors and homeowner's associations Processing closing packages and preparing closing documents Coordinating post-settlement distribution of documents and funds Working with attorneys and other paralegals and staff to provide exceptional customer service Perform other related duties as assigned Requirements Required Skills and Qualifications: Prior experience with real estate settlements or other comparable experience Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and communication skills Well-organized, able to work independently in a fast-paced, stressful environment High level of attention to detail Ability to work in a team-based, collaborative environment Exceptional client relations and customer service skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion and good judgement Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Experience with Qualia, CLIO and iManage software preferred Join one of the most innovative, forward-thinking law firms in the country.   • Prior experience with real estate settlements or other comparable experience
