About The Position

The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland is seeking a Real Estate Services Group (RESG) Operations Engineer to maintain and operate complex mechanical and electrical systems in a large commercial building. This role involves performing preventive and demand maintenance, repairs, installations, and renovations to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. The position requires a strong focus on customer service and effective communication with team members and external partners.

Requirements

• Vocational or Technical training in HVAC, Refrigeration, Electrician, or Electronics with 5+ years of related work experience, or a High School Diploma/G.E.D. with 7+ years of related work experience.
• Professional license or certifications in HVAC or Electrical.
• Advanced knowledge of building systems and operations.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Office tools and building software systems (BAS).
• Ability to interpret construction documents and understand building codes.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Perform demand maintenance, installations, and renovations to building systems.
• Maintain and operate Building Automation Systems (BAS) and robotic systems.
• Provide customer service by troubleshooting and resolving requests and complaints.
• Coordinate and guide consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Communicate the status of systems and equipment to team members and customers.
• Perform general trades related to construction and maintenance of the building.
• Support all Facilities projects as assigned.
