In the role of Real Estate Services Agent I, we'll count on you to: Provide pre-negotiation project, parcel and property owner due diligence and non-complex negotiations for acquisition of rights relative to public or private projects as assigned Review appraisals and research comparable properties, prepare Market Analysis and Waiver Valuations following the Federal and State guidelines as applicable Verify ownership and the extent of interests; prepare offer packages; and maintain complete and detailed records/files with owner contacts, agency representatives, project team Prepare non-survey quality maps, drawings, exhibits and detailed progress reports to provide to owners and clients to aid in the Agent’s negotiations Communicate effectively with internal and external clients Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills Experience with federal, state and local agencies, private industry and landowners to facilitate the acquisition of necessary right of way for public projects Knowledgeable in title research and utility acquisition practices for permanent and temporary easements Be proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Experienced with relational databases and agreement documentation Conduct research and navigate the Internet Read, review and quality check engineering project plans and legal descriptions Draft various types of real estate documents, such as but not limited to deeds, easements, leases, and purchase agreements Be available for travel (in state and out of state) as needed
