About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in real estate or related field.
• 4 years of experience in land acquisition for public works and large capital projects for a government agency.
• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.

• Ability to read and understand appraisals, construction plans, legal descriptions, surveys, contracts, and title commitments.
• SR/WA Credentials from the International Right of Way Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional real estate transactions for City-wide needs.
• Coordinate real estate duties related to capital and non-capital projects.
• Manage the acquisition of land for public works projects.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure project success.
• Review and understand appraisals, construction plans, legal descriptions, surveys, contracts, and title commitments.
