Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and reliable pre/post-closer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with experience in the real estate closing process and will play a crucial role in supporting escrow closers throughout the closing process. Often the initial point of contact for transaction parties, the post closer must possess strong and clear communication skills to set expectations for the real estate transaction steps to ensure a smooth and error-free closing process.

Requirements

• Proven experience in the real estate closing process.
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to take initiative and work independently
• Exceptional customer service abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in real estate (retail/relocation/institutions buyer) transactions, preferably as a post closer and in a multi-state environment

Responsibilities

• Receive in and process incoming mail, checks, overnight mail of document/loan packages
• Approve wires and send checks out upon closing
• Process and send out appropriate documents to parties – mail or email
• Process and mail deed and policies after completion
• Process post-closing adjustment refunds
• Follow up on post-closing issues (escrow holdback, water escrows, etc.)
• Assist in recording documents when needed/required.
