About The Position

Responsible for providing real estate processing and support to the Real Estate Department, contributing to the delivery of prompt, efficient and accurate service all with a high level of member service.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year similar or related real estate experience preferred.
  • A high school education or GED required.
  • Serve as a Notary Public.
  • Ability to analyze data for equitable resolutions.
  • Proficient with problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work regular full-time hours.
  • Ability to work on-site at designated location.
  • Ability to communicate with courtesy, tact, and diplomacy and model exemplary member service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications.
  • Must be bondable
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time (6 to 7 hours per day).
  • Must be able to view a computer screen, use a keyboard to enter information, and manipulate a mouse.
  • Job includes some repetitive hand/wrist motions.
  • Ability to operate office machinery.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Complete all loan estimates.
  • Identify loan products to meet borrowers needs.
  • Input all paper applications and import on-line applications.
  • Make the initial and any follow-up phone calls to obtain additional documentation needed.
  • Forward loans through the workflow to the loan officers for underwriting.
  • Order appraisals.
  • Reviews all documentation for accuracy and appropriate signatures.
  • Prepares file for closing, submits to attorney and coordinates closing with title company or branch office.
  • Works with and schedules Title Company for loan closing
  • Conducts all in-house loan closings
  • Process all loan funding
  • Balance funding GL
  • Maintains records/files, assembles post-closing packages; verifies all documentation has been received, signed and dated; assures loan package is correct, complete and ready for filing.
  • Maintains communication with members and third-party providers on loan status.
  • Maintains working knowledge of regulatory compliance related to member services and financial services area to include (but not limited to): BSA reporting requirements, OFAC, USA Patriot ACT, Red Flags, Regulation CC, Regulation D, Regulation E, Truth in Savings, Truth in Lending, Privacy, etc.
  • Answers telephone inquiries from members on routine inquiries regarding payoffs, collections, beneficiaries and other details of existing loans.
