Position Summary Reports to Manager of Asset and Entity Services within the Guggenheim Credit Services Holdings Business unit. The team currently provides administration and servicing oversight on transactions originated by Guggenheim Investments and its affiliates with asset classes including Private Structured Debt and Equity SPVs, CLOs, CMLs, Military Housing and Land Banking Assets. This role can be located in New York City, Chicago, or Santa Monica, full-time. Responsibilities Coordination and Oversight Communicate effectively with deal team, legal (internal and external), title companies and borrowers Amalgamate and review closing documentation set Oversee and maintain a closing checklist Escalate non receipt of pertinent closing documentation to deal team Review and get approval of closing fees and expenses Facilitate system booking and communicate potential delays Coordinate money movement on close from lenders to title/borrowers Review loan files to ensure completeness and escalate if issues Assist with Flow of Funds Creation and Enhancement Develop and document processes and procedures relating to the closing of CMLs and Land Banking Loans Establish a checklist for closing deliverables for both loan types and any new RE loan types that are introduced in the future Create a pipeline for all expected and upcoming closings Confirm internal stakeholders are aligned with workflow and make amendments where needed Liaise with Internal Audit on any changes made Direction of execution of cash and securities transactions and funds flow Development ongoing transaction procedures and assignment of responsibilities Qualifications Basic Qualifications Strong Real Estate Acumen Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to structure creative solutions Works with a large degree of independence but requires guidance on complex issues/situations Is highly proactive with strategies to improve processes and efficiencies Able to review governing transaction documents and understand how to execute correctly on transactions Strong and written and verbal communication skills Strong commitment to performance and accuracy of work product Team oriented individual with ability to work well with diverse and geographically dispersed groups Sets and achieves individual and team goals Ability to multi-task across a robust pipeline of diverse investments in a detail-oriented and timely manner Preferred Qualifications Business degree preferably related to Real Estate 6+ years (VP) experience in Commercial Mortgage Loan Closing Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Understanding mortgage loan documentation and compliance requirements Prior experience with Land Banking transactions We are not seeking agency assistance with this role Salary Range Annual base salary between $140,000.00-$160,000.00 The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
