Summary: The Real Estate Development Analyst is responsible for all business development and sales activities in the marketing, reviewing, analyzing, and negotiating of Vertical Bridge (VB) ground leases through its various programs, including Ground Lease Buyouts.

Requirements

  • Four-year college degree required, preferably in business or similar relevant field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience preferred, including maintaining an assigned book of business/territory
  • Prior experience working with Salesforce, SiteTracker or similar database management systems required
  • Proficient in CLM programs, MS Office suite products, and MS Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively over the phone
  • Self-motivated individual with a proven track record to deliver results with minimal direction
  • Effective in an entrepreneurial culture, working independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Real Estate or related business is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Work with VB’s landlords to facilitate, negotiate and execute ground lease amendments and ground lease buyouts through various programs
  • Review and analyze ground current ground lease provisions to identify favorable and unfavorable terms
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with VB landlords
  • Create and manage business development materials (i.e. phone, email, text, and mail campaigns)
  • Coordinate and manage the closing/execution process from inception to completion
  • Maintain and build Salesforce database for tracking Landlord activity and completed amendments
  • Work through assigned territory of VB landlord’s and ensure every site receives communication within assigned time period
  • Present deals to the investment committee for approval
  • Communicate and work effectively with other VB departments
  • Assist the Director and Vice President of Real Estate Development on special projects and other duties as assigned
