Requirements

  • Proficiency in loan servicing software and tools
  • Solid understanding of real estate loan documentation, the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), and financial regulations
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure
  • Adaptable, demonstrating a willingness to assist in cross-training and departmental projects
  • Commitment to maintaining integrity and compliance with credit union policies
  • Minimum of four years business degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Demonstrates a strong knowledge of consumer and real estate lending laws and regulations
  • Strong knowledge of Loan Documentation preparation software and Symitar
  • Has strong strategic, tactical, and organizational skills
  • Well-developed time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
  • Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
  • Position requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient project management skills
  • Thorough knowledge of residential and commercial mortgage lending policies, procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management, staff, and members
