Real Estate Associate Attorney, 5-8 year
About The Position
Gammage & Burnham is a Phoenix-based midsize firm with a highly regarded real estate and land use group. We are seeking an experienced associate attorney to join the Real Estate Group. We are experts on a broad range of real estate matters, such as acquisitions and dispositions of real property, planning for and developing homebuilder projects, retail shopping centers, office buildings, master-planned communities, multifamily projects, and industrial parks. A successful candidate will have 5 - 8 years of real estate and commercial transactions experience. We are united by a common desire to do outstanding work in a collegial environment. Requirements
- Top academic credentials.
- 5 - 8 years of real estate and commercial transactions experience.
- Ability to manage real estate closings.
- Review title commitments and surveys.
- Experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sales agreements, leases, joint development agreements, and construction escrow agreements.
- Ability to draft covenants, conditions, restrictions, and easements for residential and commercial projects.
- Handle closings.
- Familiarity with operating agreements, joint venture documents, leases and declarations is also required.
- Distill and analyze information and communicate effectively with other attorneys and clients.
- Detail-oriented but also able to determine material issues and propose solutions
- Can effectively work as part of a team (both as part of the client's team and with other attorneys) on multiple complicated matters simultaneously.
- Current Arizona law license is required.
