About The Position

Crusoe is seeking highly motivated, intellectually curious, and detail-oriented individuals to join our DIG/Real Estate team as an intern. This isn't just a "shadowing" opportunity; you will be an integral part of the Real Estate team, contributing to the financial architecture of our global infrastructure footprint. The ideal candidate possesses a "roll-up-your-sleeves" work ethic and thrives in a collaborative environment where technical skill meets creative problem-solving.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (rising sophomore through senior), preferably majoring in Economics or Business, though other fields of study are welcome.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically advanced Excel for modeling) and Google Suite.
  • Intellectually Curious: You don't just find the "what," you hunt for the "why."
  • Team Player: You have a supportive approach and believe that the best results come from collaborative thinking.
  • Extreme Detail-Orientation: You understand that in investment modeling, a single misplaced decimal can change a narrative.
  • Professional Integrity: You handle sensitive financial data with the highest level of professionalism.
  • Candidates must be available to work full-time during one of the following internship periods: May 18, 2026 – August 7, 2026 June 1, 2026 – August 21, 2026 June 15, 2026 – September 4, 2026

Responsibilities

  • Build and stress-test Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) models to analyze returns for potential acquisitions.
  • Create and refine proforma models for both build-to-suit and speculative development projects.
  • Curate and manage our Sales Comparison Database, tracking regional trends and property values to inform our entry into new markets.
  • Maintain "Base Case" proforma models for our existing land bank, ensuring our long-term portfolio strategy remains data-driven.
  • Provide cross-departmental support, working with teams company wide to synthesize insights and support high-stakes investment decisions.
