About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Real Estate Acquisition Associate to support the sourcing and underwriting across commercial, mixed-use, and hospitality assets. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and is comfortable balancing financial analysis with active participation in deal sourcing and execution. The Associate will play a key role throughout the full acquisition lifecycle, from market research and underwriting to due diligence and closing, while also supporting broader asset-level initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field
  • 1–4 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, investment analysis, or related field
  • Strong financial modeling skills (Excel proficiency required)
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with commercial real estate and/or hospitality underwriting preferred
  • Experience with industry platforms is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Source new opportunities through brokers, owners, and industry relationships
  • Assist in evaluating off-market and marketed deals across commercial, mixed-use, and hotel properties
  • Prepare investment summaries, offering memos, and internal deal presentations
  • Support LOI and PSA initiatives alongside senior team members
  • Coordinate and track due diligence processes including third-party reports, legal documentation, and closing requirements
  • Maintain and expand broker and industry relationships
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models (cash flow, IRR, equity multiple, sensitivity analyses)
  • Analyze rent rolls, operating statements, STR reports (for hospitality), and market comparables
  • Conduct market research including supply/demand dynamics, comps, and economic trends
  • Assist with valuation using multiple methodologies (DCF, cap rate, comparable sales)
  • Support portfolio-level analysis and reporting
  • Monitor target markets and identify emerging trends and opportunities
  • Track pipeline activity and maintain acquisition databases/CRM systems
  • Contribute to investment discussions and market selection
  • Help prepare investor materials, reports, and updates
  • Support capital raising efforts with data and presentation materials
  • Take on ad hoc projects across acquisitions, operations, and strategy as needed
