This Director will participate in the execution/project management of current real asset mandates as well as in the sourcing of new prospective clients across real assets. The Director will have exposure to all aspects of the real asset alternative investment market as well as North American-focused and Global managers and investment strategies. The Project Management Director has the overall goal of managing the fundraise process and raising capital for our real asset clients.

Requirements

  • Solid knowledge of financial services.
  • Solid technical understanding of alternative investment products.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills with credibility to deal with clients at a senior level and respond to detailed and challenging questions.
  • Exceptional analytical, sales and marketing instincts.
  • Solid understanding of alternative investment products and the fundraising process.
  • Minimum Required: B.S. or B.A.
  • Minimum Required: 7+ years' of financial services experience
  • Minimum Required: FINRA SIE, FINRA Series 79, & FINRA Series 63 at or within 3 months of start date
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook

Responsibilities

  • Participate in, and take some leadership of the diligence, launch, and project management of Funds.
  • Serve as a product specialist for distribution team.
  • Manage client relationships, with oversight.
  • May co-lead or lead team on fund assignments.
  • Participate in origination/interacting with potential clients, and perform due diligence.
  • Oversee the production, maintenance, and updating of Fund materials.
  • Oversee upkeep/internal distribution of management reports, client reports, meeting notes, call notes, etc.
  • Manage and mentor junior team members.
  • Create and maintain good relationships with GP clients.
  • Generate new business GP leads when possible.
