Explore whats next with us at novabiomedical.com About the role The Reagent Test Assistant will perform testing of various calibrators, controls, and additional reagents required to support company produced and OEM analyzers, by means of verbal and/or written instruction under the supervision of the Group Leader/Supervisor. Requirements

  • Read and write English and follow written/verbal instructions.
  • Perform basic math.
  • Entry level knowledge of Quality System Regulations (QSR)
  • Entry level knowledge of OSHA safety standards
  • Entry level knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be able to work alternately in a seated or standing position.
  • Willingness to learn, ability to adapt to change, and a positive attitude.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team or individually.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent
  • 0-2 years' experience in a testing/laboratory setting or comparable environment is desired.
  • Related experience in a Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) environment is desired.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions including standing, walking, lifting, and bending for an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

  • Train in the setting up, qualification, operation and troubleshooting of various analyzers and lab equipment.
  • Recording and reporting results as to whether the reagent/control has met specification to the Group Leader/Supervisor of Test lab.
  • Training in performing titrations, pH measurements, flame photometry, microbial culture test and viscosity
  • Assisting in cleaning of Test Lab to ensure work area is neat and safe.
