Requirements

  • The individual is responsible for assembling/packaging functions on an assigned packaging line for various kits within the established time frame.
  • He/she must be flexible and mobile so as perform on any section of the packaging line as required.
  • Assist with setting up the assigned packaging line where he/she will be performing packaging duties.
  • Conduct in-process inspections/verification of packaging material and products and document findings as needed or as specified in the AP.
  • Independently perform specific packaging tasks as required.
  • Operate various packaging equipment, including automatic/manual taping machines, manual/electric pallet jacks, packaging line conveyor belts, flow racking systems, and other devices as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Must be able to perform tasks that may involve extended periods of time standing, sitting, pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting, turning, climbing steps and carrying up to 25 pounds several times/hours a day.
  • Require repetitive use of arms/wrist/hands while setting up/working with equipment/computer throughout the shift.
  • Will require but not limited to the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that may include safety glasses, safety shoes, lab coat, bouffant, disposable gloves, face shield, hearing protection and nuisance mask
  • Must be able to distinguish colors
  • Must have good hand/eye coordination and visual acuity
