About The Position

A Ready Mix Driver is responsible for transporting freshly mixed concrete from the batching plant to construction sites. This Project offers On the Job Training Program (OJT).

Requirements

• Valid commercial drivers license (CDL) with clean driving record.
• Previous experience operating a cement truck or similar (heavy equipment preferred).
• Knowledge of concrete mixing and pouring techniques is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge with DOT regulations.
• Ability to navigate uneven and rough terrain safely.
• Ability to recognize hazardous conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate a ready-mix concrete truck, ensuring safe transport of concrete to various job sites.
• Maintain communication contact with the dispatch base for efficient routing.
• Clean, inspect, and perform minor repairs on the vehicle if needed.
• Observe all safety regulations and maintain superior public relations while on duty.
• Provide quality customer service during deliveries.
• Maintain the equipment according to the standards set in place by the company and manufacturer's specifications.
• Load the truck with ready mix concrete, drive the concrete to the job site, and help unload the mixed concrete.
