About The Position

Carew Concrete & Supply Co., Inc. is currently seeking a Ready Mix Plant Operator to join our team at our Fond Du Lac Plant! In this role, you will be responsible for managing the batching process for 6 locations remotely, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery of concrete mixes. You’ll coordinate with on-site personnel, dispatch, and quality control teams to meet daily production targets and maintain safety and operational standards.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail – accuracy is key to maintaining quality mixes
• Mechanical aptitude – ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues quickly
• Computer proficiency – experience with batching software and systems
• Ability to work long hours in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

• Prior batching or plant operations experience is a strong plus
• Ability to drive heavy trucks, operate forklifts and end-loaders preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor computerized batching systems for multiple remote sites
• Ensure accurate batching and delivery of concrete per mix specifications
• Troubleshoot mechanical and system issues as they arise
• Monitor material inventories and report needs proactively
• Support a culture of safety, efficiency, and quality control
