Summary
This is a skilled position
involving the safe and efficient operation of
a front end loader to fill batch bins with material. Some shovel work under the bins may be required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to work well with others in a group or one on one setting.
• Ability to communicate effectively on radio/phone system

Nice To Haves

• Previous heavy equipment operation experience or training is preferred.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate a front end loader to load material into the batch bin.
• Responsible for efficient working condition of plant equipment. Performs maintenance to batch plant which includes greasing, sweeping, shoveling, performing equipment repairs, cleaning, and removing jam-ups.
• Maintain time and material records.
• Responsible for efficient working condition of plant equipment.
• Must be able to climb man ladder.
• Follow verbal (in person and over the phone) and written instruction.
• Other duties as assigned.
