What you’ll be doing: Delivering ready-mix concrete and associated products in a safe and efficient manner to construction sites, after being loaded at one of our concrete plant locations. Vehicle maintenance: performs pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspection, checking vehicle fluid levels daily and adds fluids if necessary. Required to keep the vehicle clean inside the cab, inside the drum, and the exterior of the vehicle using proper wash down procedures. Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age with High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid California Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License, with a tanker endorsement.
- Ability to pass Federal Department of Transportation pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and physical and be subject to random drug testing in accordance with Company/Federal testing requirements.
- Ability to bend to ground-level and reach to upper levels with use of a ladder and the stamina to stand and walk for most of the work shift, and lift upwards of 40 lbs.
- Ability to perform simple math, e.g., addition, subtraction, etc.
- Clear English speaking/writing and attentive listening skills
- Driving, using maps and directions
- Ability to be flexible with your schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
