About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. The role involves safely operating a concrete mixer truck to deliver ready-mix concrete to construction sites, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness, and communicating effectively with dispatch and site personnel to coordinate deliveries. Additionally, the position requires maintaining cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle while adhering to all safety protocols and company procedures during loading, transport, and delivery.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safety and compliance with regulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a concrete mixer truck to deliver ready-mix concrete to construction sites
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and site personnel to coordinate deliveries
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle
