About The Position

We are seeking experienced Ready Mix Drivers for our Florida operations in Riverview, FL.

Requirements

  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively.
  • 1 year of related experience or training.
  • Class A or B driver's license with current medical card (or ability to obtain one).
  • No DUI's within the last 2 years.
  • Minimal moving violations.
  • Able to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain respectful relationships with other staff.
  • Ability to read and interpret written information such as safety rules, sales tickets, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certified.

Responsibilities

  • Drive concrete mixer to work sites and discharge load.
  • Ensure Health & Safety standards are met by complying with legislation and company policies.
  • Hose down the rig to keep it clean.
  • Walk on uneven and slippery surfaces at work sites and at the plant.
  • Lift and attach extension chutes weighing thirty to fifty pounds to the end of the primary chute.
  • Perform normal operating adjustments to equipment.
  • Lift and move transported materials.
  • Climb, stoop, bend, squat, stretch, drive, sit, shift gears, pull, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Use hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and shovels.
  • Adhere to Company safety policy and rules at all times.
