Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age with a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid California Class A or B Commercial Drivers License with a tanker endorsement.
• Ability to pass Federal Department of Transportation pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and physical, and subject to random drug testing.
• Ability to bend to ground-level and reach upper levels using a ladder, with stamina to stand and walk for most of the work shift, and lift upwards of 40 lbs.
• Ability to perform simple math, e.g., addition and subtraction.
• Clear English speaking/writing and attentive listening skills.
• Ability to drive using maps and directions.
• Flexibility with schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ready-mix concrete and associated products to construction sites safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections, checking fluid levels and adding fluids as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle, including the cab, drum, and exterior, using proper wash down procedures.
• Utilize computer tablets and IoT devices effectively during operations.
