About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. What You'll Be Doing Assist in daily plant operations including batching, dispatching, and delivery coordination. Monitor and support quality control processes to ensure product consistency and compliance. Participate in inventory management of raw materials including aggregates, cement, and admixtures. Collaborate with maintenance teams to understand equipment upkeep and reliability. Shadow the production supervisor and area manager to learn operational decision-making and leadership practices. Support safety initiatives and participate in safety audits and training. Engage with customers and sales teams to understand service expectations and product performance. Analyze operational and financial data and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn supply chain systems.
  • Demonstrated initiative and commitment to professional growth.
