About The Position

The Ready Mix Truck Driver is responsible for loading, transporting, and unloading ready mix concrete to various job sites. This role requires the driver to inspect their vehicle for mechanical issues and perform or outsource necessary maintenance. The position demands a commitment to safety and teamwork, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and professionally.

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED
• Minimum of 6 months Operator experience
• CDL Class A license with Tanker endorsement
• Willingness to do labor work
• Ability to work as a Team Member and maintain a professional manner with a positive attitude
• Motivated self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to work safely under pressure with time constraints in a changing environment
• Frequent cross body movements such as bending, climbing into equipment, lifting (up to 75lbs), twisting, standing, balancing, stooping, handling materials, moving around hazardous sites
• Good Eye to Hand coordination and depth perception
• Flexible availability to include overtime and possible weekends
• Ability to communicate clearly and understand information through spoken words and sentences

Responsibilities

• Load your truck with ready mix concrete
• Drive the concrete to the job site
• Help unload the mixed concrete
• Inspect your truck for mechanical issues
• Perform or outsource maintenance
