Brainspring Learning Centers, a leader in Structured Literacy instruction, is seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team as Reading Tutors. Our organization has built a strong reputation since 1991 for providing quality tutoring services across six locations in Southeastern Michigan and online. We specialize in one-on-one instruction tailored to meet the unique needs of each student, whether they are struggling with academic subjects or seeking enrichment. Our programs are designed to be age and skill-appropriate, ensuring that every student can achieve their maximum potential and become an independent learner. As a Reading Tutor at Brainspring, you will have the opportunity to work with students of all ages and abilities, utilizing the Orton-Gillingham methodology through our Phonics First® programs. This interactive and structured approach to reading and spelling is proven to produce results. We offer free training and professional development, competitive pay, and flexible scheduling, allowing you to tutor as much or as little as you desire, with a minimum commitment of four hours per week. Additionally, tutors who commit to eight hours or more per week will receive incentives and can complete the Orton-Gillingham Dyslexia Specialist Certification practicum at no cost, a program valued at approximately $4,000. Our training is designed to accommodate your schedule, with options for live-stream sessions via Zoom or a self-paced online course. The Phonics First® curriculum is nationally accredited by the International Dyslexia Association and the International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council, ensuring that you are equipped with the best practices in literacy instruction.
