About The Position
(1) Reading Specialist
Requirements
- Valid New Jersey Reading Specialist Standard Certificate required.
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in appropriate area of concentration.
- Have at least five (5) years of successful experience as a teacher in a school setting (Standard Teaching Certificate).
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of child development, effective instructional strategies, learning assessment and diagnosis, and best practices as they relate to literacy instruction.
