About The Position

This position involves teaching adult learners (age 18+) who are clients at the Delaware Department of Labor Job Centers located in Wilmington and Newark. The role requires travel to two different state offices to provide instruction. The teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing instructional plans, as well as conducting ongoing assessments of learners. Classes are conducted 100% in person, necessitating the instructor's ability to adapt to the individual learning needs of students.

Requirements

• Must be DOE licensed in one or more content areas at the elementary, secondary, or adult level.
• Ability to teach adult learners effectively.
• Willingness to travel to different locations for instruction.

Nice To Haves

• Experience teaching in a job center or similar environment.
• Ability to combine this position with the Computer Skills Teacher position.

Responsibilities
