The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets.
  • Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices.
  • Escalate, manage and report control issues with transparency.
  • Design, code, test, document and implement application release projects as part of development team.
  • Work with onsite development partners to participate in design and architecture for key enterprise applications.
  • Proactively notify Development Project Manager of risks, bottlenecks, problems, issues, and concerns.
  • Compliance with Citi's System Development Lifecycle and Information Security requirements.
  • Work closely with Quality Control teams to deliver quality software to agreed project schedules.
  • Work with BA and understand all functional and technical requirements of the project.
  • Experience in writing native components using Java for Android and Objective-C for iOS.
  • Strong experience in practical Single Page Application design and development.
  • Experience in design and development of React Native App to support iOS and Android.
  • Experience in Redux operations, flex layout for React, UI design and responsive layouts.
  • Knowledge on push notifications, biometrics authentication, wallets, deep linking in mobile apps.
  • Knowledge on JavaScript language (including ES6+).
  • Significant experience in developing native modules/plugins.
  • Worked on source code management such as SVN, GIT, Bit Bucket and good knowledge of CI/CD pipeline.
  • Knowledge on the build and distribution tools XCODE, Android Studio and Gradle.
  • Deep understanding of mobile-based security aspects.
  • Solid understanding and experience of integrating with backend Web Services.
