About the position

The React Native Lead at Nisum is responsible for leading the design and development of mobile applications using React Native. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and ship new features, maintaining code quality, and mentoring junior developers. The position requires a strong understanding of mobile application development, performance optimization, and the ability to drive technology choices for a world-class user experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of mobile applications using React Native.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to optimize performance.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them into operations and activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Applications, or related field.
• Strong React Native programming skills with the ability to build applications from scratch.
• Proficiency in State Management and Redux.
• Experience with Animations, Hooks, and Gestures.
• Knowledge of App Deployment (CI/CD) and Manual processes.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Excellent communication skills and independence in work.
• Ability to lead a team and provide direction to offshore teams.
• Experience in coding and shipping complex new features at high velocity and high quality.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in building a pipeline to increase team efficiency in Native Apps ecosystem.
• Familiarity with backend and infrastructure teams for app integration.
