About The Position

The React Engineer will help design, build, and enhance modern web applications that support our internal teams and our customers. This role will be responsible for developing and enhancing React-based web applications that support both internal operations and ArmorPoint customers. The React Engineer will assist with design, implementation, integration, documentation, and testing of front-end solutions, working within agile methodology and collaborating with internal product and engineering teams to deliver effective, secure software aligned with business objectives. This is a full-time remote role within the United States.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in web application development
  • Hands-on experience building applications with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Familiarity with multi-tier, data-driven web applications
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with backend services
  • Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control, testing, and CI/CD
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an agile, fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Node.js or other backend technologies
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern application infrastructure
  • Exposure to cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise software environments
  • Experience with ElasticSearch, SQL/NoSQL databases, or API development
  • Understanding of UI/UX design principles and performance optimization

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop responsive web applications using React and related front-end technologies
  • Collaborate with product management, UX/UI, and backend teams to translate requirements into functional solutions
  • Implement, integrate, configure, and write code to support new features and enhancements
  • Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Work with internal stakeholders and, when needed, customer teams to understand business objectives and technical challenges
  • Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing application performance
  • Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
  • Stay current with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in front-end and web application development
