The position involves facilitating inbound delivery inspections to ensure meticulous attention to detail. Responsibilities include loading and unloading semi-trailer and box truck deliveries, refusing any damaged or unidentifiable shipments, and reporting any suspicious packages to Inventory Control upon discovery. The role requires ensuring that inbound deliveries match company purchase orders and verifying product origination locations to meet accreditation requirements. The effective utilization of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) is essential for receiving, putaway, and picking products while validating item, location, and quantity. The position also involves troubleshooting discrepancies and reporting unresolved issues to leadership, operating robotic goods-to-person picking and conveyor automation safely and efficiently, and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. Additionally, the role includes inspecting products for damage, expiration, and proper packaging, performing cycle counts and physical inventories accurately, reporting maintenance concerns promptly, and handling highly confidential documents. The position requires maintaining cleanliness, facilitating stocking replenishment activities, and operating material handling equipment such as motorized reach trucks, order pickers, and walkie riders. Some assignments may require light mechanical troubleshooting or preventive maintenance on conveyor and robotics systems.
