Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating reach stacker or over 3 years operating heavy equipment.
• Must have a valid drivers license.
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute the movement of container/chassis in the yard via reach stacker and other heavy equipment.
• Operate as required to accomplish cargo movements safely and effectively.
• Inspect equipment daily to ensure safe incident free operation.
• Perform general inspections on all equipment handled.
• Report any maintenance items to the maintenance team and Yard leadership to prevent any equipment downtime.
• Perform physical yard inventories for containers and chassis, investigate discrepancies as required.
• Guide the team in Operational Excellence through continual communication and planning with Yard Leadership.
• Assist the heavy equipment operators with traffic flow.
• Perform all other job duties as assigned by the Manager.
