About The Position
Habitat for Humanity of Jacksonville, Inc. (HabiJax) is currently seeking a ReStore Service Associate. HabiJax is the local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a global nonprofit housing organization putting God's love into action by bringing people together to empower families to build better futures through homeownership. The HabiJax ReStore is a home improvement superstore selling new and refurbished building materials, cabinets, appliances, furniture, lighting and accessories to the public at reduced prices! Profits from the ReStore are used to build new houses for families through the HabiJax Homeownership Program. This position is responsible for assisting in the operation of the ReStore. The Service Associate will assist in the pick-up of donated items, unloading of trucks, storage, setup, and merchandising of donated and purchased items, and providing customer service to our shoppers. This position requires a good driving record and skills, ability to effectively interact and communicate with others, strong time management skills, the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and a commitment to HabiJax's mission, vision, and values.
